Toyin Umesiri is the Founder and CEO of Nazaru, Convener of the acclaimed Trade with Africa Business Summit. Prior to launching her ventures, Toyin served as strategist at the Headquarters of Fortune #1; Walmart, and Whirlpool Corporation supporting supply chain programs including in merchandising, technology, manufacturing and global sourcing.

In 2022, Toyin was appointed by the U.S. Secretary of Commerce to serve as member on the Illinois District Export Council (ILDEC). District Export Councils (DECs) are organizations of leaders from the local business community, whose knowledge of international business provides a source of professional advice for local firms.

Toyin teaches Entrepreneurship and International Trade at Business Schools and in her private practice. She provides advisory services and strategic support to Multi-lateral Institutions and Government stakeholders. She is a global influencer, inspirational speaker and previously served as Ambassador for Intra-African Trade Fair by appointment of the African Export-Import Bank and the African Union (AU); governing body of the 55 African nations.
